Stone & Wood is an independent real estate agency based in the heart of Annecy, with an additional presence in Carouge, Switzerland. Founded in 2014, our mission remains the same: to find exceptional homes and provide a complete, personalized service. We place people at the heart of every real estate project, taking the time to understand our clients and their aspirations, and showcasing each property for sale with the same care and attention as if it were our own.

Our history

Stone & Wood was founded in 2014 by Lonni Carteron, a native of Annecy. For over 10 years, our team have been committed to providing you with comprehensive support. Our approach, based on transparency and attentiveness, along with our expertise and deep knowledge of the region, has earned the trust of our clients.

Initially established near the Swiss border to assist cross-border workers and expatriates with their real estate projects, our services and geographic scope have since expanded to meet the diverse needs of our clients. With a team of 10 dedicated professionals, Stone & Wood remains a humain-sized agency that guides you through the sale or purchase of your primary residence, secondary home, or investment property.

Since October 2025, Stone & Wood has opened a new agency in Carouge, Switzerland, continuing its growth across the French-Swiss Alpine region.

Thanks to in-depth market expertise across Annecy, the Aravis mountains, Lake Bourget, and the Geneva border area, we guide our clients in the purchase and sale of unique and diverse properties: villas, farmhouses, charming apartments, prestigious residences, and exceptional chalets in the Alps. We also specialize in the acquisition and sale of hotels, guesthouses, and other investment projects.

Since our expansion into Switzerland, we also cover the cantons of Geneva, Vaud, and Valais, offering comprehensive expertise on both sides of the border.

Our services: free and non-binding property valuations, sales and property search mandates, tailored sales strategies for your property, local and international marketing, legal and technical assistance, and access to our trusted network of partners (brokers, surveyors, etc.).

For our team, every property is unique and requires an individualized approach, always putting the client first. With regular updates, expert advice, and a dedicated team, we are here to assist you. To maintain confidentiality, not all our listings are published. We handle some projects off-market.

Our Offices in Annecy and Carouge

After Archamps in the Geneva area and Groisy along the Annecy-Geneva axis, the team settled in Annecy in 2019. In 2023, Stone & Wood established its headquarters in a beautiful manor house just steps from the city center. This unique and strategically central location allows us to cater to client needs across Lake Annecy, Lake Geneva, Lake Bourget, and the surrounding mountains.

Since January 2025, construction work on our new offices has been underway in the grounds of the same manor house. A space designed to welcome our growing team and receive our clients in the best possible setting.

In September 2025, we had the pleasure of moving in, into a contemporary and welcoming space that reflects our vision of real estate. Conceived as a modern cabin in the heart of the city, these offices embody a new way of experiencing the workplace: respectful of the environment, attentive to comfort and aesthetics, and oriented toward the future.

Since October 2025, Stone & Wood has also established a presence in Carouge, Switzerland, in order to offer broader coverage across the entire French–Swiss Alpine region.
