Rooted in the heart of the Alpine region for more than 10 years, our agency is based in Annecy and Geneva, supporting real estate projects on both sides of the border. We connect local and international buyers with unique homes and lifestyles, from lakeside settings to mountain retreats and vibrant city addresses.

Founded in 2014, our mission remains unchanged: to curate singular places and provide a bespoke, discreet and uncompromising service, from acquisition to sale.

Our history

Stone & Wood was founded in 2014 by Lonni Carteron, a native of Annecy. For more than 10 years, we have guided our clients through every stage of their real estate journey, driven by the same conviction: placing listening, transparency and a personalized approach at the heart of everything we do.

Originally established near Geneva to support cross-border commuters and expatriates with their property projects, the agency has gradually expanded its expertise across the French-Swiss Alpine region. Today, Stone & Wood assists clients with the purchase and sale of primary residences, second homes and investment properties throughout France and Switzerland.

With a team of 11 professionals, Stone & Wood remains an independent, boutique real estate agency where proximity, expertise and uncompromising standards shape every project.

In October 2025, the opening of our Carouge office, just outside Geneva, further strengthened our presence in Switzerland and reinforced our ambition: to support real estate projects across the entire French-Swiss Alpine region.

Rooted in the heart of the French-Swiss Alpine region, we guide our clients through the purchase and sale of unique properties, including contemporary villas, character homes, apartments, chalets, private estates and investment properties. Our expertise also extends to hospitality assets, including hotels, guesthouses, boutique hospitality properties and other investment opportunities.

With offices in Annecy and Geneva, and expertise spanning the Aravis, the Mont Blanc region, the Canton of Vaud and Valais, we bring in-depth knowledge of both the French and Swiss real estate markets to every project.

Beyond the transaction itself, we provide a comprehensive, bespoke service, including property valuations, tailored sales strategies, sales and property search mandates, local and international marketing, legal and technical support, as well as access to a trusted network of partners, including mortgage brokers, wealth advisors, architects, surveyors, notaries and skilled tradespeople.

Every property is unique and deserves a tailored approach. To ensure the highest level of discretion, some properties are marketed exclusively off-market, meeting the expectations of buyers and sellers seeking complete confidentiality.

Our Offices

Located in the heart of Annecy, within a tree-lined park just a short walk from the city centre, we envisioned and built our own offices as a natural extension of our identity. More than just a workplace, they embody our vision of real estate: understated contemporary architecture, sustainable materials, seamless integration with the surrounding environment, and meticulous attention to every detail.

From the project's inception and the first architectural sketches to the construction process, our move into the building, and the environmental and architectural choices that shaped its design, discover each stage of this journey through the articles dedicated to the creation of our new home.

Since October 2025, Stone & Wood has also established a presence in Carouge, Switzerland, in order to offer broader coverage across the entire French–Swiss Alpine region.
